The appearance of a headstone memorial is important, and represents your memory and a place for others to visit, and if the headstone has moved over the years and is no longer straight or is leaning at an angle forward, then action should be taken. This also can be upsetting especially given cost, or how frequently you choose to visit.
If the fixings for any memorial are not adequate, or have eroded or the headstone never initially settled, then problems develop, and that is where we can assist. As we cover all aspects of stonemasonry we have seen and dealt with many scenarios. Numerous factors ranging to the drainage, the type of soil, and weather elements such as high winds, can all cause incremental changes in the position.
We have vast experience, all necessary machinery and knowledge to lift, reposition and re-fix your headstone. We have permits to allow us to work all across Scotland and the UK, and will deal with access and organising a suitable date with council or cemetery for any works.
We will attend and amend others’ headstones, and we are competitively priced. Photographs supplied in advance are ideal or we will do a quick site visit if required, and then with your acceptance, proceed to quickly rectify and repair.
