From a new memorial to restoring an existing one, we offer a complete, professional service. You'll never need to chase anyone or manage multiple suppliers.
Every memorial we create is bespoke. We work with you to create something that truly reflects your loved one; their character, their faith, their passions. Every detail can be designed to your specification.
Our craftspeople produce every piece in-house at our Ayrshire workshop. We handle all cemetery liaison and installation on your behalf.
When a further family member is interred, or when a stone needs updating, we can add new inscriptions that match the existing lettering style, font, and finish, so that the memorial remains cohesive.
We are experienced in matching lettering on older stones where the original craftsperson's style must be respected and replicated faithfully.
Exposure to the Scottish climate takes its toll on even the finest stone. Lichen, moss, algae and general weathering can make a memorial difficult to read and less dignified than it deserves to be.
Our professional cleaning process uses specialist stone-safe products that remove biological growth and weathering without damaging the stone's surface. We can also re-gild lettering that has faded.
Headstones that have become unstable, leaned, or have been pushed over represent both a safety concern and a source of distress for families. Cemeteries carry out regular safety inspections and will lay down memorials they consider a risk.
We assess, re-fix and repair to current cemetery health and safety guidelines and to the NAMM Code of Working Practice, ensuring stability without compromising the stone's appearance. We can also work with families whose stones have been laid down by the cemetery to have them reinstated correctly.
A memorial represents a significant investment, not just financial, but more importantly emotional. Our specialist memorial insurance protects against the events that cannot be predicted.
We can advise on appropriate cover and arrange a policy at the time of commission or at any point thereafter.
Produced to the same standard as our memorial work, our granite house name and number plaques are designed to last a lifetime and suit any property, from a new build to a traditional stone cottage.
A photograph added directly to granite creates a portrait that will last as long as the stone itself. We can add a photograph to a new memorial or to an existing headstone, and our in-house digital team will enhance, restore or retouch any image to the standard required. Even an old, faded or low-resolution photograph can produce a beautiful result.
We can now handle the entire process in-house. You choose and provide the photograph you would like to use, we do the rest and show you for approval.
Enquire about photograph ceramic services →We engrave a QR code directly into the granite, it is not a tag, or a sticker or an adhesive plate. The code is part of the stone. Scanning it with any smartphone opens a private digital memorial page where the family can share photographs, life stories, tributes and memories that are curated entirely by them, and updated whenever they wish.
Some companies offer stick-on QR tags. We don't because tags fade, peel and can be removed. An engraved QR code will be readable for as long as the stone stands.
Enquire about QR digital memorials →Losing a pet is a real loss, and it deserves a real memorial. We create pet memorials to the same standard as every other piece of our work that is designed individually, crafted in-house, and made to last.
We'll guide you through the options just as we would for any other memorial, with no pressure and no rush on a decision.
Enquire about pet memorials →Call or email. No forms, no automated responses. You'll speak with a member of the family or our team directly.
We produce drawings for your approval. Nothing goes to stone until you're completely happy with the design.
All work is completed in-house at our Auchinleck workshop. We never outsource, and we install memorials across Ayrshire, including Ayr, Kilmarnock, Cumnock, and surrounding communities.
We manage all cemetery permissions and handle the installation. You unfortunately cannot be present, but we will tell you progress and let you know when you can see the finished and visit the memorial once in place.
We're here Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:30.
There's no obligation, just a helpful conversation.
